Trick or Treat

"You said I get a treat if I put this on!"

So excited to be an owl

Chase (equally or maybe more excited!) telling Sophie to flap her wings

 My little Sophie owl

Lightning McQueen!!!! He looks so cute in that hat.

KAAAAACHOOOOOOW! (Chase looks too cool for school here.)

Lighting McQueen (like "lets get our candy on already mom!"), Mama Owl, & baby Owl

 Hooot!

Betsie and baby B rocking the puffy dog costume and Sophie with her eyes covered

Aren't we a cute owl family?

I really enjoy these ladies! So glad Sarah Rachel and Betsie invited us out!

 The kiddos
Sophie doing her tonsily smile again. Brian posing as a survivor of the "tough mudder" run. Ok that wasn't his costume. But I did make him into a "pumpkin pie" by dressing him in a pumpkin colored jacket, making a stem/leaf on his headband and taping the pi symbol to him. Hey... $2 burrito at Chipotle for anyone in costume.... in ANY costume.

All things Autumn

 Tonsils? Check!!

Post-run walk to the our neighbor, the cemetery.

View of the side of our house from the graveyard. Check out the massive trees in our backyard.

See. Living beside a graveyard doesn't have to be creepy.

Fixing that hairbow from coming out 362,114 times a day. Yep. True story.

Tree ablaze. I love how fall just screams God's glory at every ounce of creation!

 Roanoke Star

Sophie has this new "mouth wide open thing" when you ask her to smile and Chase pretends he has an underbite.... I'm sure our Christmas cards will reflect the latest trends in what is cool for toddler smiles these days.

Having fun with Picasa effects (you thought I sketched her right?)

Chase looks like a cartoon in a comic strip here. Picasa never ceases to amaze me.
Daddy pumpkin and baby pumpkin. You should've heard the grunt that Sophie let out as she tried to pick up "daddy pumpkin." "Ugh. Too big. I little. Can't pick it up, mommy. I little. Too heavy."

Love this shot! Good job hubby.
