Happy Mother's Day! To my wonderful mom who:
sacrificially carried me for 9 months,
nourished those chubby cheeks,
creatively HANDMADE all of our birthday party decor (check out my Ernie hat!),
dressed me up in a sari, salwar kameez, or other Indian garb to teach me my dad's heritage,
made sure to be a part of every prom, dance recital, swim meet, & soccer game,
and support me through all of my academic achievements, speeches, pageants, & ceremonies,
and still finds time to share herself with me (and the grandkids) today!
